I just watched About Time. I know I’m late, but I’m not regret it. It’s one of the best movie I’ve ever watched, for sure. I thought it was gonna be a normal rom-com movie, but turns out I was wrong. It was THE BEST. Well, second after Love, Rosie. Love, Rosie still my main rom-com movie. But let’s not talk about that shall we?

My Review About This Movie

I don’t really have any expectation about watching this movie, but I’ve seen it everywhere in my social media. And many people recommended this movie to be the best rom-com movie. I already save it on my movie list, but I just have the time to watch it now. It was a great movie! I love the plot, it feels like you can’t really know what’s the next scene or the ending of this movie gonna be look like, so you really have to just watch and pay attention to it. It almost feels like you are a part of the movie, but from the third person perspective. And it feels like Tim just tell you his story and you just listen and watch it, of course.

To be honest, this is my first time to ever experienced this kind of plot, like you never know how this movie going to end. And I loved that feeling! It’s something new. I really like the last sentence on the almost ending part where Tim finally realized that he didn’t really need to use his ability to time travel because he liked to enjoy every bit part of his life. Just enjoy ordinary life, even sometimes life can hard but can also be full of rainbow.

The Lesson I Take

I’m now really grateful for what I have. For life that I lived this couple of years. Yes, there are ups and downs, but it still bearable. This movie really remind me of myself from the past and looking back on how I lived my life today. There are so many changes in my life, even though it’s not major changes, rather little things in life.

At first, it may seem that it didn’t really visible. But you can feel it that there are some changes with your life and how you continue to live your life everyday. Your perspective on how you see the world it’s going to change alongside you growing up and gets older.

Well, looking towards the future is scary. You can’t really know what’s going to happen, then you start imagining things happen in your head. Then it gets scarier because you think that you’re future might be happen not as you wanted and others bad stuff you want to avoid.

But I realized the future of you is from your decision you made from each day. If I can time traveling I would love to make a few changes of my decisions on the past. But, I couldn’t. All I can do is accept for what happened in the past, and try not to make the same mistakes or avoid the same mistakes.

The lesson from the movie is try to enjoy your life as much as you can, even you have the most ordinary life in the world. Live your life day by day, doing the routine that bore you so much but it will bring memories in the future.

Life is priceless.
